Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Lanterns mobile game and the website at playlanterns.com, operated by Goated Entertainment. You can play without creating a named account. The game uses automatically generated player identifiers and offers optional in-app purchases and rewarded advertisements.

What the game records

• Player and device identifiers. Random player, app-instance and session identifiers connect progress, purchases and technical events. These identifiers are pseudonymous; they can still be personal data. Advertising identifiers may also be used according to your device settings and applicable consent choices.
• Gameplay and app activity. Rooms played, results, progress, hearts, hints, streaks, screen visits and interactions with offers or advertisements help us operate the game, understand usage and improve it. Daily results may be used for game statistics and rankings.
• Purchase history. Apple or Google processes payments. We and our purchase provider receive product, price, currency, transaction and entitlement information to deliver purchases, restore eligible items, prevent fraud and measure revenue. We do not receive your payment-card number.
• Device and technical information. App and operating-system versions, device model, language, network information, crash logs and diagnostics help us detect problems. Our services and advertising or analytics providers receive IP addresses; these can be used to infer an approximate location, such as a country or city. The game does not request GPS or precise-location access.
• Advertising and attribution. Ad impressions, clicks, rewards, install attribution and related gameplay or purchase events help deliver and measure ads, prevent abuse and assess marketing. Advertising partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions and diagnostics. Personalized advertising and cross-app tracking depend on applicable consent and device settings.
• The web demo. Browser sessions, puzzle results and a transfer code allow you to carry eligible demo progress into the app. The website and demo may store identifiers and progress in your browser.
• Support requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include so we can respond.

What the game does not request

Playing does not require your name, email address or phone number. The game does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, health information or precise location, and it has no player-to-player chat.

Who helps us

We disclose the relevant data to these providers for the purposes described above. Some advertising partners also process data under their own privacy policies. Advertising-related disclosures may be considered sharing or a sale under some privacy laws. Use the privacy controls below to manage applicable choices.

Your choices

• Advertising: rewarded videos are optional. Occasional ads may appear between puzzles; the permanent No Ads purchase removes these automatic ads. Where required, a consent message appears before ads can load. When available in your region, open the game's Settings → Ad privacy → Privacy choices to review or change your choices.
• Device controls: on iOS, manage tracking permission in your device's Privacy & Security settings. On Android, use your device's advertising privacy controls to manage or delete its advertising ID. Declining tracking does not prevent puzzle play; basic game analytics and diagnostics can still operate.
• Notifications: reminders are optional and can be turned off in the game or device settings.
• Access, correction and deletion: email support@10xv.xyz with the subject “Lanterns privacy request.” Tell us whether you use iOS, Android or the web demo. We will help identify the relevant player record and may request limited information to verify the request. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. You can request deletion without deleting a named account, because none is required to play.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed to provide the game and purchases, investigate problems, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Deletion requests may be subject to records we must retain for those obligations. Removing the app or clearing browser storage does not by itself delete server records or purchase history. Data sent to our backend and the providers listed above is encrypted in transit. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Providers may process data in countries outside your own. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your data, object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Children

Lanterns is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@10xv.xyz so we can investigate and address the request.

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
